Teara Fraser is a Métis aviation pioneer, entrepreneur, scholar, and storyteller. A proud Red River Métis and citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation and Métis Nation of British Columbia, she founded Kîsik Aerial Survey, Iskwew Air, the Raven Institute, Indigenous LIFT Collective, elibird aero, and Liberty Lodge. She holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, where she has also taught. Teara has been named to WXN Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, Top 25 Women of Influence, YWCA Woman of Distinction, and honoured in DC’s Wonder Woman anthology. In 2023, she received the Indigenous Business Award for Lifetime Achievement.
