Good Shepherd New Zealand

Tania is Chief Executive Officer of Good Shepherd New Zealand and a nationally recognised leader in social and economic justice. She has experience across Aotearoa and the UK in policy, campaigning, social innovation and Indigenous economic development, championing equity for women, whānau and communities most impacted by inequality.

She pioneered social procurement in Aotearoa and co-founded Amotai, and is a Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Fellowship for Social Equity and a Honorary Fellow of Engineering NZ. In 2024, she was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to Māori and Pasifika communities and the environment.
