Skye Daniels joined nib New Zealand as Chief Executive in August 2025, bringing strong commercial, strategic, and financial service skills to the role.
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Skye has held senior leadership and financial roles at a diverse range of iconic New Zealand institutions including Southern Cross, Air New Zealand, PwC and MediaWorks.
As a leader, Skye is dedicated to building high-performing teams by prioritising workplace wellbeing. She believes that a resilient organisation is built from the ground up, starting with a team that feels supported and aligned. Her commitment to the broader healthcare landscape is further reflected in her governance work, including her role on the Board of the Starship Foundation.
Beyond her professional commitments, Skye balances the demands of leadership with raising her two young daughters.
