Karleen Everitt is Te Kaitohu Rautaki Māori – Head of Te Ao Māori Strategy at ANZ New Zealand, where she partners with leaders across the organisation to shape and embed ANZ’s Te Ao Māori strategy. With more than 25 years’ experience as a strategic change executive, Karleen has designed and implemented innovative business strategies across the public and private sectors, driving significant growth while strengthening stakeholder relationships and cultural capability.

Her expertise spans strategy, communications, marketing, and cross-functional leadership, underpinned by deep emotional and cultural intelligence. Passionate about advancing Te Ao Māori, Karleen describes her work as the movement of hearts and minds, honouring promises made and creating meaningful, lasting change. She also serves as a Director of Global Women and holds several governance roles across Aotearoa. Mauri ora.
